Accounting Manager
Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain regulatory data requirements
• Prepare all the regulatory financial statements and filings in accordance with NAIC guidelines, including filings with states.
• Research accounting issues to ensure compliance with the NAIC manual and state prescribed and permitted practices
• Monitor Stat surplus adequacy, including the preparation of RBC
• Perform account reconciliations, resolving outstanding issues
• Prepare GAAP to Stat entries and reconciliation
• Prepare analytics, reconciliations, working papers, and controls so as to identify and resolve significant issues in a timely manner.
• Provide variance and fluctuation analysis of financial statements
• Conduct other duties as assigned.
