Operations Manager – Administration
Our client is a large International manufacturer who produces high quality building materials and is searching for an Operations Manager to oversee their imported products division. The successful candidate will be responsible for administration and logistical operations including, shipping, inventory control from ports and third party warehouse facilities.
Duties include:
- Manage team of two logistics coordinators and coordinate back office functions overseas
- Responsible for delivery of containers from 10-15 ports of entry
- Manage inventories in 30 warehouse locations
- Lead Logistics in US and overseas
- Manages overall functions related to buy / sell operation including advising and managing the operational process of sales activities
- Support the management and operational administration of all Big Box accounts
- Supervise the A/P controls and third party logistics charges
- Lead, manage and implement Logistics Optimization Plans including:
- Product standardization
- Packaging- Container maximization
- Trucking maximization and cost reduction contracts
- Warehousing/Storage
