Complete Description
Administrative Resident - Vinings location. MBA/MHA, MHA candidate, or graduate student in a healthcare related accredited academic program. Under general supervision, responsible for fulfilling academic program requirements in a coordinated effort that benefits both the student and the Piedmont Medical Care Corp. Coordinates with senior management, department heads and Practice Managers to develop a residency rotation program/schedule. Rotates throughout the departments/locations of the PMCC to gain general knowledge of the administrative and clinical operations of the organization. Meets with appropriate staff to gain knowledge of how each department/practice operates. Attends and observes various types of meetings to understand how administrative staff carry out their duties and responsibilities and interact with other staff. Analyzes the operations of assigned departments/practices and communicates areas of concern to the appropriate staff. Researches and studies the duties and responsibilities of administrative personnel to better understand how to become an effective health care administrator.
