HR Assistant
Job Description :
The responsibilities of the Human Resources Assistant include but are not limited to
-Primary point of contact for new employees. Collects all new hire paperwork and enters new hire information into the HRIS system.
-Creates new employee personnel files. Responsible for HR/Payroll file room and maintenance of HR/Payroll records
-Responds to employee requests for information, resetting passwords.
-Pulls information from HR systems, manipulates data to produce monthly and ad hoc reporting to include headcount, turnover, PTO utilization, compensation and other data and analytical reports. Responds to requests for data from multiple sources.
-Updates company organization charts
-Provides analysis and metrics on HR data to include comparison to external benchmarks.
-Maintains and audits I-9 files periodically
-Completes employment verifications
-Preparing and mailing GA DOL separation letters for all terminated employees
-Creating and maintaining new hire employee ID badges
-Works as back-up for Office Administrator and HR Recruiting Assistant
-Assist with general administrative duties as needed such as composing letters, memorandums, overnight and regular mail, copying, preparation of presentations, etc.
-Other duties as assigned
