Job Description:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSDrafting, negotiating, reviewing, and interpreting documentation relating to a wide variety of real estate, finance, commercial, and corporate transactions.Reviewing, researching, and drafting legal opinions, memoranda, letters, and other documents on a variety of legal issues affecting the Bank.Giving advice and rendering opinions with respect to the legal implications involved in establishing or changing Bank policy. Working with representatives from various departments on developing, modifying, and interpreting policies, practices and procedures to conform to legal requirements. Analyzing and interpreting Federal, state and local laws, rules, regulations, policies and administrative guidance, both proposed and final, affecting the Bank. Keeping the Banks employees, officers and directors informed of the same.
