Outbound Call Center/Customer Service Agent
Description
Do you have tremendous outbound call center experience? If you answered yes, then we have the position for you at the Bureau of Labor Statistics in downtown Dallas! We offer great benefits and a M-F daytime work schedule.
The applicant will solicit businesses to participate in voluntary Department of Labor surveys. Employees work with a Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewer (CATI) software application running under the Microsoft (MS) Windows XP operating system to manage and document the communications with companies that occur via phone and fax. After signing up a company to participate in the survey, the employee will communicate with the company on a monthly basis to acquire the employment information. The employment data is checked for fluctuations from past reports. Significant fluctuations in data are discussed with the company in order to determine if an error was made in acquiring or transcribing the information. This position requires the applicant to spend a significant amount of time each month on the telephone working with 300 or more companies.

Rooms Controller/Welcome Desk Agent
POSITION PURPOSE
Take reservations via the telephone, mailed correspondence, rooming lists, and in-house requests. Enter the information into the Property Management System (PMS). Manage room type inventory and reservations requests on high occupancy days. Ensure blocking of VIP guests and arrivals 3 days out. Rooms Controller will also be scheduled part time as a Welcome Desk Agent.
