Job Description:
Provides administrative support to individuals and/or department. Performs general clerical and general office duties involving typing, record and file maintenance, mail distribution, answering telephones, writing memos, etc. as directed. Can also input data into spreadsheets and/or databases. Follows established procedures, methods and practices. Devotes more than 20% of time to clerical work.
The goal of this position is to allow the assigned executive(s) to be most effective in their assigned role or leadership position. Provide guidance, support and coordination with various teams to allow the assigned executive(s) to function at a high level of proficiency, preparedness and business management. This includes project coordination and liaison with cross functional teams.

HR Assistant
The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources Department in a confidential manner.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES include the following. In this position, either directly or through others, the incumbent will:
-Responsible for assisting with human resource related tasks.
-Assists in the recruiting and hiring process, including ad placement, job postings, applicant tracking, screening applicants, interview arrangement, and pre-employment screening.
-Respond to questions regarding human resources issues, or refers questions to HR Manager.
-May be responsible for payroll back-up including, but not limited to; inputting new hires, job changes, transfers, etc.
-Assists in the administration and tracking of employee programs, including employee referrals, exit interviews, employee recognition, etc.
-May conduct new employee orientations.
-May answer incoming calls, transfer calls, and respond to general questions.
-Prepare reports and correspondence.
-Assists with maintaining files, forms and database information associated with personnel, benefits, attendance, general information and recruiting.
-May be back-up coverage for Administrative Assistant.

Principal responsibility involves daily interaction with local and national media seeking information and/or interviews concerning HIV, viral hepatitis, sexually transmitted diseases or tuberculosis. Other responsibilities include: creating and updating press materials, conference support, and some administrative duties.

Job Description :
The responsibilities of the Human Resources Assistant include but are not limited to
-Primary point of contact for new employees. Collects all new hire paperwork and enters new hire information into the HRIS system.
-Creates new employee personnel files. Responsible for HR/Payroll file room and maintenance of HR/Payroll records
-Responds to employee requests for information, resetting passwords.
-Pulls information from HR systems, manipulates data to produce monthly and ad hoc reporting to include headcount, turnover, PTO utilization, compensation and other data and analytical reports. Responds to requests for data from multiple sources.
-Updates company organization charts
-Provides analysis and metrics on HR data to include comparison to external benchmarks.
-Maintains and audits I-9 files periodically
-Completes employment verifications
-Preparing and mailing GA DOL separation letters for all terminated employees
-Creating and maintaining new hire employee ID badges
-Works as back-up for Office Administrator and HR Recruiting Assistant
-Assist with general administrative duties as needed such as composing letters, memorandums, overnight and regular mail, copying, preparation of presentations, etc.
-Other duties as assigned
