Program Coordinator - Kids at Heart
The Program Coordinator will develop, plan and implement quality social, support, and educational programs for cardiac patients and families through Children’s Kids at Heart program.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Develop, plan and implement quality social, support, and educational programs for cardiac patients and families through Children’s Kids at Heart program. Programs include special events, conferences, support groups, family mentor program, camps and fundraisers.
-Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers for the above programs
-Complete daily administrative and operational tasks including email communications, database management, direct mail management, and filing
-Create and manage yearly program budget and reconcile monthly financial reports
-Manage all vendor contracts, insurance needs, and operating expenses

Description
Our client seeks a Marketing Coordinator for a 3-month contract. The ideal candidate has 3-5 yrs experience in marketing or communications, BS/BA in marketing communications (or equivalent experience), healthcare and/or physician marketing experience is a plus. Wide range of writing skills, including marketing and journalism is preferred. Excellent organization and written/verbal communications skills. Ability to coordinate multiple projects and meet deadlines. General office skills and detail orientation essential. Knowledge, understanding and experience in using various marketing tactics, including market research, advertising, direct mail, collateral, newsletters, event planning, etc. Must be PC literate with software proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and specialty software. Ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization. Must be creative, versatile, self-motivated, driven, detail-oriented, and responsive. Requires travel in the community, so a car and a drivers license are needed.

Front Office Coordinator
Complete Description
Performs a variety of non-clinical duties to support an extremely busy multi - provider Internal Medicine practice, located on the main campus of Piedmont Hospital. Duties include directing patients and non-patients, registration, scheduling, telephone management and gathering basic insurance information in a courteous and patient/customer-friendly manner; acts as facilitator for the patient. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the front desk. Ensures that the patients are appointed and registered in an efficient manner which develops a positive public relations image. Ensures efficient and courteous collection of patient responsible balances. Cash Balancing: Ensures that patients pay their balance at time of service. Ensures that payments are balanced with NextGen on a daily basis. Ensures that transaction batches are posted before end of day. Registers and schedules patients for diagnostic tests. Candidate must have at least 5 years’ front desk experience in a physician practice or medical office and have excellent computer skills. Must have excellent billing, coding and insurance knowledge, and be familar with CPT and ICD9 coding. Must be able to discuss/explain insurance denials/balances with patients, and have an understanding of payor requirements. Candidate must be able to work independently and communicate effectively and professionally. Must be a team player and have exceptional customer services skills.
