Student Financial Services Counselor II
Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Student Financial Services Counselor II provides support to the department and performs duties in the areas of compliance, program administration, reconciliation, professional judgment and satisfactory academic progress appeals. Guides staff dedicated to providing financial aid assistance to students and their families; is responsible for managing multiple tasks in a time-sensitive work environment. Provides appropriate and accurate information to all prospective and continuing students and/or parents regarding student accounts, educational costs, availability of financial aid resources, program eligibility, application process and strategies for meeting college costs. May require working at other campus financial aid offices, evening hours, and/or flex schedule.

Counselor/ Therapist Position
Education Requirements:
Masters Degree in Social Work , Professional Counseling, Psychology, Community Counseling. Must be a licensed LMSW or LAPC
Preferred Experience:
-Direct use of pragmatic (i.e. structural, strategic and functional) family therapies
-Individual therapy with children and adults using cognitive behavioral techniques
-Behavioral therapy targeting school behavior and academic performance
-Implementation of interventions within or between systems in the youth’s natural ecology that affect or influence the behavior of youth (i.e. family, peer, school, and neighborhood)

Qualifications:
Must have a Master’s in Social Work, Master’s in Counseling or a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and experience with geriatric populations; excellent organization and communication skills; must have transportation to travel locally.
Note: This position is located in Westchester, NY.

-Responsible for up to ten campers at any given time
