About the Job
Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects (Maya is a Plus)
Video Game Software Company is seeking a Graphic Design Artist with skills using Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and Maya. This is a permanent position. Candidates must be local and able to commute to Gwinnett. This position requires the ability to perform within an aggressive development schedule and produce deliverable on a daily basis. Extensive knowledge of Adobe Suite is a must. The ability to use Maya for modeling and texture is a plus.
Required Experience
-5+ years of Graphic Design experience
-Extensive Adobe product line knowledge
-Maya skills should include modeling, texture, and basic dynamics.
-Team Player; good customer interaction skills
-Excellent written and oral communication skills
-Project planning and estimation experience

Qualifications:
-3 years of design experience
-Comprehensive knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign within the Mac operating system.
-Ability to create files at all levels of design from conceptual sketches through to print ready mechanicals.
-Full understanding of the various printing processes. Including but not limited to offset printing, screenprinting, digital printing, spot vs. 4 color process, varnish, foil stamp, diecut, etc.
-Ability to work with others in a team environment as well as managing projects solo.
-Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
-Strong artistic ability with the potential to inspire
-Rudimentary understanding of web design

Position Description
-Provide leadership and direction across all interactive destinations; guiding breakthrough thinking with respect to interactive visual design.
-Serves as an enterprise-wide visual design resource
-Helps ensure that American Cancer Society’s interactive destinations are holistic; strategically grounded and maintain the highest standards of innovation; creativity; and execution excellence.
-Partners with; and encourages collaboration among; all interactive visual design staff across ACS
-Disseminate and support interactive visual design best practices for ACS.
-Understand the alignment of web properties with business objectives and recommend appropriate interactive visual design solutions for enhancing customer experience; The Principal for Interactive Visual Design (PIVD) is responsible for supporting the visual design elements of the American Cancer Society’s interactive customer experience; inclusive of sub-brands and properties. The candidate must be comfortable and have experience working on high performing teams comprised of the three key disciplines necessary for any interactive application: Visual Design; Information Architecture; and Technical Architecture.

Graphic Design Internship
Job Description:
As a member of the National Congress of State Games, we are an amateur sports association offering athletic competitions throughout the year, culminating in July with the Championships, an Olympic-style sports festival open to all state residents. In this year’s Championships, athletes will have the opportunity to compete in 40+ sports in the Atlanta area.
Outside of the Championships, we have a full schedule of activities. During May and June, the ten District Sports Festivals offer their own special mix of athletic events throughout the state. The Games also hosts the Cobb Cup and Run For Life. In September, the 4th Annual Tournament of Elite Sports Figures Charity Golf Tournament will be hosted to benefit the Georgia Sports Foundation. In addition, we have an active mascot, “Spike”, who was introduced in 1994.
Following are descriptions of the positions available in various departments. Dates and times for internships are flexible. All applicants must have strong writing skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
