The Director of Development has responsibility for all aspects of application development and management. The role requires collaboration with senior management regarding technology and process solutions to ensure that they support the strategic direction of the business. -Meet with client and utilize Gartner’s benchmarking tools to gather data, validate and analyze data and develop recommendations related to IT efficiency & effectiveness
-Perform analyses and develop client deliverables appropriate to the specific benchmarking engagement.
-Conduct research as necessary to substantiate benchmarking recommendations
-Analyze findings and prepare written reports and recommendations normally presented to clients in person.
-Depending on project size, incumbent may supervise other personnel, assign work, establish and maintain schedules, control project expenses and integrate individual work into a coherent and quality deliverable.
-Identify and pursue sales opportunities and leads, which may come from meetings, clients, other consultants, sales force, vendors and others.
-Support and assist the sales organization by making joint sales calls.
-Write and present proposals to prospective clients and contracts for engagements.
-Complete additional projects as required.
