Job Description
THE POSITION
In this newly created position, the Senior Vice President of Operations will take a leadership role in driving company revenue growth and profitability in alignment with the vision and direction of the CEO, to whom he/she will report. Based in Atlanta, this person will oversee operations, from an asset management perspective, for 25+ full service and Marriott focused-service hotels, by working closely with brand and management companies. Key goals of this person include increasing RevPar penetration and NOI margins, at an efficient capital cost. The Senior Vice President of Operations will be a source of systems, new ideas and creativity to dramatically improve performance and solve business problems and should be capable of accepting additional challenges as the company continues to grow.

Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns. Contact appropriate individual or department to resolve guest call, request, or problem. Follow up and ensure that any outstanding requests are resolved. Advice guest of any messages received. Verify and adjust billing. Operate telephone switchboard station. Monitor busy or unanswered lines, check back with callers on hold to update status, take messages. Activate and deactivate guest room message lights Transfer guests with internet access issues to internet service provider’s customer support line. Assist callers with credit card, calling card, long distance, collect, overseas, and person to person calls. Log guest requests, incidents, adjustments and comment cards into computer to allow for proper tracking and documentation. Supply guests with directions and property information. Assist management in training, scheduling, evaluating, motivating and coaching employees; serve as a department role model.

Housekeeper/Room Attendant
We currently have an opportunity available as a Housekeeper at our Hotel Indigo Atlanta - Midtown property
This position has overall responsibility for cleaning guest rooms and/or suites in a timely and thorough manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
-Clean and service assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, removing trash etc. May include cleaning of kitchen areas, room refrigerator, coffee maker, cups, glasses, silverware etc.
-Notify supervisor when service is complete so rooms may be sold or occupied. Monitor and control supplies and amenities, and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping. Report, turn in, and/or log all lost and found items according to established procedures.
