We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager for one of our clients. This position is currently scheduled to be a 12+ month contract but could develop into longer term opportunities based on your performance and their continued needs. This is an exciting opportunity for you to provide Project Management skills for our client while gaining valuable skills in other areas of technology.
Required Skills Include:
-Effectively managing technology projects from requirements gathering to close-out phases. Project experience must include new development; hardware evaluation, installation and configuration; as well as business application migration to a new environment. Experience must include system type projects, not only functional.
-Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Experience must include projects comprised of matrix team members who did not directly report you.
-Experience using an established PM methodology including managing standard deliverables, risks, issues and escalation.
-Experience with Interactive Voice Response (IVR) technology and/or business applications.
-Experience in the public sector dealing with Requests For Proposal(RFP) and Statements of Need(SON).
-Experience managing and communicating with highly technical systems programmers, systems engineers and external sw/hw vendors.
