Practice is looking for hard working associate looking for partnership opportunities long-term. The group covers two hospitals out of three offices. In addition to outstanding oncology/hematology services, the practice has a Cancer Wellness Center and Research Center. Desire to participate in cancer research/trials a plus.

Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides patient care services in the back office medical setting, which will meet the specific needs of the patient.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
-Performs the essential functions as defined as by the appropriate Skills Competency Checklist.
-Compliance with established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
-Observes and communicates changes in the patient’s condition to the provider on duty.
-Assists provider with exams, procedures and other processes related to direct patient care under direct supervision.
-Participates in the completion of the Daily Checklist, as well as any assigned duties and tasks necessary to maintain compliance with Federal and State regulations.

Must be able to work independently to meet deadlines. Accepts and performs other related duties and responsibilities as required.
Desired skills ORYX medical record abstraction. Military and/or VHA medical record abstraction experience. 5 years of professional experience or 3 year of professional experience with a related Masters/MD degree.
Specific Job Description Travel required on an as needed basis. Position is responsible for reviewing paper and electronic medical charts, interpreting and analyzing medical record documentation, and extrapolating pertinent health information.

Job Description
The Polysomnographic Technologist will be responsible for the Sleep Medicine Center procedures in accordance with NCH policy and procedure and guidelines set forth by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). Additional responsibilities will include answering telephones, provide customer service skills, interact with clinical staff, patients and/or their family members, and other client contact.
