The Mental Health Tech is responsible for:
-Attends to the physical appearance of the patients; washed hair, shaves patients, nail care and oral care
-Completes HS care including back rub, oral hygiene and denture care, pericare and toileting
-Provides pressure sore prevention as directed including the use of proper bed surface, skin care products, protective devices (heel and elbow pads)
-Turns and positions patients a minimum of every two hours unless specified otherwise
-Uses body alignment devices appropriately; splints, anti-contracture devices
-Provides active and passive ROM
-Takes patients to Day Room for meals, assists with feeding as directed
-Observes, measures and records all intake and output including bowel movements, drains, foley, NG tube etc.
-Performs blood glucose quality control test and documents results
-Collect and labels specimens according to hospital policy

Reporting to the Mental Health Manager the Mental Health Clinician will be responsible for providing psychotherapeutic and mental health services for all diagnoses to adult and geriatric patients, and to the community. This may include inpatient and outpatient. The Perinatal Loss Mental Health Clinician provides care to inpatients and discharged patients who are experiencing a perinatal loss.
The successful candidate will have:
Master’s degree from an accredited program in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related mental health discipline with an emphasis on clinical experience. Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or master’s level independent licensure in Georgia in a related field such as Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Nursing. Must be CPR certified. The days are Sunday and Monday.
