Part-time NURSING Clinical Instructor
Physical Requirements:
Position requires unreimbursed local travel. Physical ability to perform all job duties. Ability to lift and carry files and materials. Adequate vision, hearing and manual dexterity to interact with people in person, on the phone and in writing. Job takes place in normal environmental conditions on campus and in local hospitals.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
Applicants must pass a Criminal Background Check prior to being hired. Upon being hired, an Advantage Background/Drug Screen, paid for by employee (approx. $70 if one is not currently on file), will be required.

Must be willing to work flexible hours including some evenings and occasional weekends.

Under the general supervision of the Dean of Health and Public Safety Technologies Division, the position serves as nurse administrator for the Associate Degree in Nursing Program and shall assume authority and responsibility for the administration, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing education program.
This will include:
-Oversight of and budgeting for the program, selection and evaluation of qualified faculty, and evaluation of program outcomes.
-Directs and monitors the accreditation process for the Associate Degree in Nursing Program of Study.
-Develops and manages the Associate Degree in Nursing Program’s daily operation to include clinical services, contracts, administrative policies and procedures.
-Assists in managing the budget, including purchases of equipment and supplies.
-Monitors and manages the class schedules for the Associate Degree in Nursing Program, as well as the program master course schedule.
-Prepares and delivers quality curriculum with daily instruction of students.
-Under general supervision, demonstrates the use of appropriate teaching techniques.
-Demonstrates the use of appropriate testing and grading procedures including proper maintenance of grade books and any other appropriate record-keeping requirements.
