Proof Operator - Southeast Region
Proof Operation 1
Evening shift Monday - Friday 6:30 pm until completion.
Purpose: Responsible for the encoding and balancing transactions received from clients and departments.
Key Accountabilities:
* Encode and balance all incoming proof with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
* Meet established productivity targets
* Ensure quality control is performed to assist in achieving established reject rates, (at or below 1%)
* Be aware of critical deadlines and ensure all efforts are made to meet service level commitments
* Perform prescribed maintenance/ cleaning of machines and report hardware malfunctions
* Develops and shares ideas to increase productivity and/or improve service

Machine Operator
Job Description:
Select, cut, edge, finish, surface, fit lenses to frames, and provide customers high quality eyewear delivered as promised. Maintain Lab equipment in good working order through proper maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Routinely demonstrate hands on proficiency of all objectives in the Lab Certification Program as outlined in the SOP 9.01, for level attained.
Ensure all jobs are clocked in upon receipt and clocked out after final lab inspection in accordance with Company standards to include jobs completed in about an hour as promised.
Control lab inventory through auditing tray management procedures, special orders, check-in of lenses, inter-store merchandise transfers, breakage, returns, and the monitoring of damaged and defective product.

Forklift Operator - 1st Shift
Reports to the shipping office at the beginning of each shift for the daily assignment, vehicle inspection sheet and replenishment discrepancies sheet. Inspects assigned lift and completes vehicle inspection sheet. Replenishes pick slots using the view request screen. If no requests exist, uses the manual replenish screen to fill empty or almost empty slots. Performs knockdowns for selectors when needed. Maintains correct counts and logs any discrepancies in inventory. Verifies that the correct product is being put in the appropriate pick location. Cuts and removes shrink wrap from all knockdowns. Removes all empty pallets from pick locations and aisles. Separates the good, bad, and blue pallets and neatly stages in pallet staging area. Keeps area clean and debris out of work area. Operates the lift in a safe and efficient manner. Parks and recharges lift in its appropriate spot at the end of the shift.

Mainframe Operator/IT Support Specialist
This position is responsible for ensuring continuous availability of all online systems, successful completion of all online transactions and batch programs, and hardware components in the data center. These tasks are accomplished through the use of hardware and software products that facilitate continuous proactive monitoring of local and remote systems and the problem identification, recording and resolution for Home Depot clientele.
The person in this position will work with all groups in I.S. to achieve 100% availability per Service Level Agreements. They should be familiar with basic MVS (mainframe OS) commands, but may have to seek assistance for many problems on that platform. They should be able to perform Mainframe IPL’s under supervision.

Incumbent is responsible for jogging, loading document feeder with batches of customer documents, selecting job, clearing paper/track jams and clearing machine when batch is complete. The incumbent is responsible for insuring that all images and batches are scanned timely to meet customer deadlines and of good quality. The incumbent is responsible to correct and re-insert any images that are bad or missing. The incumbent is also responsible for running the converter to insure all items within a batch process accurately. The incumbent is responsible for correcting barcode misreads and processing check mismatches, locating missing checks. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining of equipment. Incumbent will be crossed-trained in various areas to ensure timely processing during production peaks. Incumbent will be responsible for any other job-related tasks.
