Manager of Release Planning
Description
Responsibilities:
-Proactively work with Marketing, Accounting, and Operations to identify technology initiatives to drive additional revenue opportunities, operational efficiencies, or increases in customer satisfaction
-Work with IT leads to schedule IT initiatives and manage IT release schedules
-Ensure release communication (scope, requirements, release schedules) are maintained and delivered to the appropriate business owners
-Drive development teams toward completion of agreed upon scope in regularly scheduled releases
-Work closely with the management team and development staff throughout the development life cycle to resolve any release scope changes using a formal change management process
-Develop on-going solutions to improve quality, cycle time, and efficiency of IT development and/or release efforts
-Manage and track IT controls efforts including documentation and auditing

Vice President - Strategic Planning & Analysis
Position Details
Position will facilitate the strategic planning process and lead strategic assessment activities in support of Cox¿s business outlook and strategic options. Expectations of results include facilitation of an overall corporate strategy, cascading business unit strategies, and portfolio diversification strategies that are required to maintain the desired level of growth.
Specific accountabilities include:
-Lead external (e.g. marketplace, competitor, technology, customer) & internal (technology, product, business unit) strategic assessments
- Evaluate impact of external trends and recommend action plans
-Develop the corporate strategic plan and facilitate the development of Planning Unit strategic plans
-Report on performance of key strategies (e.g. dashboards, KPIs, etc.)
Focusing on results and collaborating cross functionally, this leader will continue to build a best in class strategy and planning team as well as develop processes, systems, and competencies across the company.
-Provide leadership in analyzing market, customer, product, competitive, technology and regulatory trends and make recommendations on Cox¿s strategic options
-Identify, lead and manage strategic assessments based on external trends and based on internal analysis of Cox¿s products, services and business units
-Lead the creation of the company wide 3 to 5 year strategic plan which would include perspectives on potential future scenarios, market positioning, gaps, opportunities and priorities.
-Actively identify and utilize frameworks and tools to enhance the efficacy of the strategic planning process
-Drive evaluation, decision-making and implementation of Cox¿s strategies on specific industry issues, policies, emerging technologies, platform and convergence decisions, intellectual property rights and special projects
-Work closely with a cross-functional team including finance, legal, products, technology, marketing, operations, and others to develop a consensus around and support for the strategy

POSITION PURPOSE
The Implementation and Planning Merchant will have the responsibility to develop execution strategies for Capital and Departmental projects of multiple merchandising departments that have significant impact on the organization. They will be required to manage the entire implementation process ensuring that the complete execution is on time and within budget.
