Description

The position of Communications Specialist has recently become available within the Communications Department within the Marketing Team. The role is responsible for researching, writing and editing communications to support the McKesson Provider Technologies public relations/communications initiatives and its executive team. Communication vehicles to support include internal and external print or electronic media (e.g., emails, newsletters, Web site content, video/multimedia, etc.). Responsibilities also include, but are not limited to, executive writing support, interviewing for weekly field reports, and writing articles or case studies to support customer and employee success. May provide writing and project support to the public relations function to get favorable stories in the press. Assists with the internal communication of the corporate message and/or assists sales/marketing in representing the company’s products and services to customers, prospects and employees.
