Certified Orthopaedic Tech (Midtown)
We are currently looking to fill an opening for the critical role of a Certified Orthopaedic Technician for our Midtown office. This position will assist or provide primary care to patients acting as an assistant to physicians in a clinical setting.
Provides patient care support to licensed providers and serves as liaison between patient and healthcare provider. Upper extremity and casting experience preferred.
The Certified Orthopaedic Tech is responsible for applying, adjusting and removing casts, assembling traction apparatus, and fits strapping’s and splints for orthopaedic patients. Instructs and assists patients in walking with casts, braces and crutches.

Position Summary
The Technology Support Analyst provides high quality and timely site based Personal Computing Technology, technical support on a variety of technical problems and issues. Persons in this job function proactively and reactively research, troubleshoot, install and resolve technical problems in a timely manner. The position requires an experienced and motivated individual with the ability to utilize their talents, skills, and abilities in a coordinated and consistent team effort.
Key Job Responsibilities
Must meet all requirements and certifications of Technical Support Technician. Monitor and update the internal ticketing system for assigned tickets and assigned locations and/or projects. Assist the Technology Support Lead in performing report analysis and discussions to address ticketing performance issues and assignments. Install, upgrade and configure workstations to fulfill requests for hardware and software for new and existing users. Manage the breakdown, relocation and set-up of workstations to accommodate user relocations, site relocation, site remodels and new location installations as assigned by Technology Support Lead.

-High Level of Individual Responsibility Skills

Diagnose problems, provide resolution or dispatch field Technician. Responsible for Customer Satisfaction through effective handling of incident. Work requires strong analytical ability to resolve complex technical issues in addition to effective phone communication and customer care skills. Strong probing and follow up skills a must. DCSE or A+ certification required; both is a big plus. Experience with DELL remote support tools (DDM, WebEX, DELL SERV) a plus.

Summary: Under very low supervision, performs journey-level duties in ensuring that machines and equipment are properly maintained or repaired when necessary by personally completing repair.

- Actively participating as a committed member of a team and working with other team members to complete the department and plant goals and objectives.
-Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws.
-Troubleshoots or performs necessary repairs to maintain the operation of equipment and systems in the areas of responsibilities such as process and packaging equipment, warehouse, electrical distribution, compressed air, steam, refrigeration, instrumentation, treated water and waste water treatment facilities.
-Install machinery and equipment as required.
-Performs preventative maintenance on production machinery and facilities according to PM schedules.
-Performs general maintenance including welding, basic electric, plumbing and carpentry, fabricates and installs parts when necessary, and documents all repair or maintenance work done on any equipment using Maximo system. Prepare reports as needed.

Duties:Members of the campus Information Technology technical team provide 24×7 support for the campus network and computer centers. Using their understanding of operating systems, networking, DNS, computer components, and computer room infrastructure, candidate must be able to make correlations between isolated events to proactively monitor, identify, and resolve various technical problems such as lack of network connectivity, application failures, slow response times, and environmental issues. Must be able to communicate complicated problems concisely and effectively to various specialists, so exceptional written and oral communications skills are mandatory. This position involves the installation of new hardware (servers/peripherals/cards/network connections)and monitoring of computer room infrastructure (power and air conditioning systems), so candidate should have basic electrical and mechanical knowledge. The position is also responsible for written and online logs, creation and upkeep of technical documentation, providing customer support, and performing system backups. Shift work is required. Selection process will include a pre-employment background screening; this screening will include a criminal and background investigatin with additional investigations which may include, but not limited to, drug, credit, education verification, or MVR.
