The SCHOOL OF EARTH & ATMOSPHERIC SCIENCES of the GEORGIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY invites applications for an immediate opening as a Systems Support Specialist II position. The position will have the primary duty of Linux Administrator, working on Linux servers, High Performance Computing Clusters, and backend Web servers. A secondary duty of the position will be Windows server administration. A demonstrated knowledge of Linux networking, DNS, NIS, Apache, NFS, Kerberos, IMAP, LDAP, and RAID technologies are required.
Selection process will include a pre-employment background screening; this screening will include a criminal and background investigation with additional investigations which may include, but not limited to, drug, credit, education verification, or MVR. The Echocardiographer functions under the direction of the Cardiology Supervisor. Works closely with physicians and other employees. Responsible for all cardiovascular imaging that is performed in the office. All outpatients will be performed in the Echocardiography Lab. The Echocardiographer is also responsible for all preliminary interpretation, Echocardiographic measurements and assembling of patient files. Ordering / stocking supplies, general machine maintenance and troubleshooting will also be the responsibility of the Echocardiographer. MUST HAVE VASCULAR EXPERIENCE. MUST ALSO BE RDCS/RCS AND RVT ELIGIBLE. Will travel to other office locations as needed.

Nuclear Med Tech
Performing diagnostic Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to the Departmental Policies and Procedure Manual, adhering to Piedmont Hospital’s Quality Management and A.L.A.R.A. programs. Performing age specific related patient care functions. Performing and documenting all quality control procedures in accordance with state regulations and manufacturer recommendations. Submitting completed exams to the cardiologists along with pertinent clinical information. Assisting in the scheduling and coordinating of Nuclear Medicine procedures.
Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT). Certified (or eligible) by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or Registered (or eligible) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (N). Dual registry in Nuclear and XRay is strongly preferred. Obtains registry within one year of employment. Possesses and demonstrates a thorough knowledge of Radiation Safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals as needed to perform and process Nuclear Medicine examinations.
