The Benefits Consultant role entails auditing plan operations, researching data and plan provisions, interpreting laws and regulations applicable to pension plans, coordinating with other internal HR service groups, and auditing service providers. The role also involves implementing changes to plan provisions, employee demographics and administrator/service providers. Benefits Consultants will provide services such as labor negotiation cost impact, analysis and implementation support for acquisitions/ divestitures, presentations to business leaders and review of plan financials.
