Counselor
Under direction, provides interventions for improving mental health service utilization in community-based settings among depressed older adults for study: administers manualized intervention to depressed older adults in their homes; conduct in-home clinical diagnostic assessments; documents patient interaction; communicates with collaborating agencies; participates in weekly research meetings and research seminars; performs other job related duties as required.
Qualifications:
Must have a Master’s in Social Work, Master’s in Counseling or a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and experience with geriatric populations; excellent organization and communication skills; must have transportation to travel locally.
Note: This position is located in Westchester, NY.
