Student Financial Services Counselor II
Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Student Financial Services Counselor II provides support to the department and performs duties in the areas of compliance, program administration, reconciliation, professional judgment and satisfactory academic progress appeals. Guides staff dedicated to providing financial aid assistance to students and their families; is responsible for managing multiple tasks in a time-sensitive work environment. Provides appropriate and accurate information to all prospective and continuing students and/or parents regarding student accounts, educational costs, availability of financial aid resources, program eligibility, application process and strategies for meeting college costs. May require working at other campus financial aid offices, evening hours, and/or flex schedule.
