Job Description
Interact with transportation system to detect, verify, respond, clear, and recover from traffic incidents on highway system. Position requires a keen sense of accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to compose clear and concise sentences that include all pertinent information without spelling or grammatical errors. Employee must have the ability to communicate with Government personnel, including maintenance and construction personnel, technicians, management, and Federal Highway Administration as appropriate, regarding incidents, traffic, road, maintenance and construction activity, and related weather conditions.
New hire employee in training to become a Certified Operator. An employee will maintain a trainee status for at least six months.
