Data Entry Specialist - Healthcare Records
Description
This entry level position is responsible for the identification and data entry of medical record receipt information and the tracking of reimbursements for record copy costs. This associate will maintain the receipt tracking, verify all portions of the record reconcile to the request, coordinate with accounts payable team to ensure reimbursements are issued timely and accurately.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
-Scan and index Healthcare documents
-Enter record data and demographic information for medical records, update existing information, and review new data entered to ensure accuracy.
-Reconcile requested records with received and imaged documents
-Coordinate reimbursement schedule and tasks with accounts payable team
-Create excel based reports for medical record tracking and payment
-Adhere to all HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines.
