MANAGER, INTERACTIVE VISUAL DESIGN
Position Description
-Provide leadership and direction across all interactive destinations; guiding breakthrough thinking with respect to interactive visual design.
-Serves as an enterprise-wide visual design resource
-Helps ensure that American Cancer Society’s interactive destinations are holistic; strategically grounded and maintain the highest standards of innovation; creativity; and execution excellence.
-Partners with; and encourages collaboration among; all interactive visual design staff across ACS
-Disseminate and support interactive visual design best practices for ACS.
-Understand the alignment of web properties with business objectives and recommend appropriate interactive visual design solutions for enhancing customer experience; The Principal for Interactive Visual Design (PIVD) is responsible for supporting the visual design elements of the American Cancer Society’s interactive customer experience; inclusive of sub-brands and properties. The candidate must be comfortable and have experience working on high performing teams comprised of the three key disciplines necessary for any interactive application: Visual Design; Information Architecture; and Technical Architecture.
