Executive Director - Georgia Food Bank Association
This will be the first time the Executive Director position has been a permanent, full time, paid position. Previously this position has been a volunteer of one of the member food banks. The Executive Director shall carry out the organizational goals and objectives, policies, procedures, and administrative duties of the Association as defined by the Board. The Executive Director will report regularly to the Board of Directors. Primarily, the Executive Director will raise food and funds, coordinate special projects on the part of the seven Feeding America Food Bank members, plan their meetings and actions decided upon by the membership, and coordinate education and advocacy by the members. The Executive Director will report regularly to the Board of Directors. The position is based in Atlanta and will require some travel around the state.
