Production Engineer, Turner Studios-Engineering
Duties: Turner Studios Engineering is seeking a production engineer to support the ongoing system administration duties in Turner Studios Animation, Graphics and Creative Services. This is a support position where excellent customer service skills are required. This position involves providing front-line support for live and pre-produced television productions. Additional responsibilities include back-end system administration duties to support the television production activities. The systems supported cover a broad range of technologies, including traditional IT systems running Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux. In addition, support will be provided for specializied applications, and systems, used for content creation. These content creation systems are used for: character generation, virtual elements, CGI, Steroscopic 3D, video editing, video recorders, and compositing. The position includes the planning, design, moving, installation, cabling, deployment and ongoing support of systems. The position involves streamlining and standardizing of routine tasks by developing procedures, scripts, and by using programmatic automation.
