Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have demonstrated a strong skill set in troubleshooting problems, and providing a superior level of customer service. The candidate should be highly motivated, and be able to work with limited supervision. Advanced system administration skills on one of the core OSs is required. Experience with the other core OSs is desirable. The core OSs being Mac OS X, Windows and Linux. The candidate must have a track record of researching, learning and mastering new skills in their employment history. A voracious appetite for learning and mastery of new systems will lead to success in this position. Previous experience supporting content creation is desired but not required. The selected candidate shall have experience and working knowledge of many of the following core IT concepts including: Directory services, backups, security, change management, system monitoring, DNS, WINS, DHCP, NFS, CIFS, SNMP, switched ethernet networks, SANs, documentation, performance testing & tuning, packet analysis, scripting, OSI Model, and preventative maintenance.
