Manager - Steam Turbine Application Engineering
Role Summary/Purpose
The Manager - Steam Turbine Application Engineering will provide leadership to a global team of engineers in proposing turbine upgrade solutions to meet customer needs and support Energy Services’ orders plan. In this role you will have functional responsibility for assigned engineering work with the objective of providing accurate and timely technical proposals.
Essential Responsibilities
-Seek out opportunities to grow the application space through influencing NPI and challenging the status quo
-Drive a quality mindset and continuous improvement culture throughout the team
-Set goals and monitor the team’s progress in building technical expertise
-Ensure adherence to established processes
-Work closely with the product line office and NPI teams to help commercialize new product offerings
-Have ownership for the quality and timeliness of the team’s output
-Provide leadership with high integrity and oversight of processes
-Participate in developing the business strategy with the Sales team to offer winning technical solutions
