SIGNS & MARKINGS TECHNICIAN – Department of Transportation
Retrieves daily work orders, determines equipment necessary to complete daily assignments.
Retrieves and transports assigned work crews to installation, maintenance, or repair locations.
Works independently or as part of a work crew in roadway marker installation, maintenance, and repair.
Installation, repair, and maintenance of pavement markings, such as raised pavement markers, and paint or thermoplastic striping.
Performs layout and application of pavement markings.
Participates in the restoration of areas affected by installation maintenance or repair operations.
Participates in work-site safety initiatives on roadway and streets.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
