We are currently working with clients in the Atlanta area looking for experienced accountants/consultants with HEAVY government accounting skill sets at the Federal, City, State, or County level
Under direction, performs professional level accounting duties in the Finance Department, including recording, reporting and analysis of financial transactions; assisting in budget preparation; monitoring budgetary control for assigned areas of responsibility; maintaining accounting system controls; coordinating revenue collection and recording, and investment, grant program, capital project and debt monitoring activities; preparing financial statements and managing components of the financial software system; may provide lead direction or supervision to assigned staff; and, performs related duties as assigned.
