Director of Segment Marketing- Government & Schools
Segment Marketing – Government / Schools is accountable for understanding the customers’ needs in each segment (Local, State and Federal) and creating the overall value proposition to win in the segment. While innovative programs and marketing concepts are developed within Segment Marketing - Government, this position will provide direction other teams to ensure the company has the product capability to meet and exceed the customers’ needs. Segment Marketing – Government will understand customers within the segments; the competitive set and trends within the specific end user segments (Local, State and Federal).
Primary Responsibilities:
-Segment Marketers will be focused on their assigned end user segment and be responsible to develop profitable, sustainable growth within the segment.
-Segment Marketers will manage a P&L for their assigned segment and be responsible for delivering programs and products that increase profitability for the company.
-Segment Marketers will make product and program recommendations to the business based on the segment’s current and future needs.
-Segment Marketers will manage a product portfolio appropriate to meet the needs of the end using segment customers based on the value proposition developed.
-Segment Marketers will understand the critical buying factors of their assigned segment by interacting with customers, Sales and through appropriate research.
