Public Health Analyst
Description:
Northrop Grumman is seeking a Public Health Analyst to work on assisting host nations in the establishment of an integrated system of disease surveillance and response for biological threat pathogens. The goals of the project are to increase capability and capacity in host nations for detection, monitoring, investigation and response to biological threats and emerging infectious diseases; to integrate host nation scientists and institutes into the international scientific public health community; to enhance the early detection of and response to biological threats and emerging infectious diseases and to reduce the global threat of biological weapons. Required Skills International public health experience. Public health informatics. Familiarity with biological threat pathogens, particularly Class A. Effective oral and written communication. Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing. Additional desired skills: Familiarity with the Central Asia and Caucasus regions. Educational Requirements: *BS/BA required. * MS/MA preferred Security Clearance Required.
