In this position you will supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of a designated unit in the facility. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained.
Requirements
-Current Registered Nurse license in state of employment
-Previous experience in direct care in a long-term care environment.
-Previous supervisory experience.
-Knowledgeable of general, rehabilitative and restorative nursing and medical practices, procedures, laws, regulations and guidelines governing long-term care.
