Qualifications
Position Prerequisites:Insurance Analyst Perform activities related to supporting the Department of Community Health and provider community within the state of Georgia , internal EDS staff, and HMO/PSN/Managed Care (Mc) Organizations through research, problem resolution, etc. Acting as a liaison between EDS, the Department of Community Health and provider community within the state of Georgia, outside HMO/PSN/MC organizations for escalation and resolution of issues. Perform provider field services support activities including: training material development, training registration, and attendance at provider training workshops when necessary. Exceptional understanding of Basic Medicaid billing Ability to travel throughout the state of Georgia (and within 40 miles of the boarder) Ability to travel a minimum of 60% of time Ability to learn all Medicaid program areas (Hospital, DME, Pharmacy, Physicians)
