Proposal Development Specialist (Healthcare)
May perform one or more of the following:
Functional Description:
-Prepare, research, and write compliant, persuasive proposal text in the areas of qualifications, experience, staffing, technical content, and resumes.
-Proposal management responsibilities on Requests for Information or Requests for Qualifications: setting up meetings, creating compliance matrices and outlines, manage to the schedule, coordinate contributors, etc.
-Proposal writing/management efforts on up to three (3) proposals at once working in conjunction with both Line of Business and Proposal Center writers.
-Interview subject matter experts and draft proposal material for their review
-Participates in and provides input during proposal development, i.e. theme and strategy development.
-Participate in kickoff, solution, and status meetings
-Develop operational, administrative, and technical knowledge resulting in top-notch proposal writing
-Serve as a team reviewer for other sections within assigned proposal; other proposals as assigned
-Participate in proposal training as instructor or evaluator, when assigned
-Assist in writing/editing/compliance functions as required
-Assist production in proofreading and editing functions and on book checks
-Works in conjunction with Subject Matter Experts to take on increasingly difficult technical and operational sections
