Insurance Specialist - Billing: Piedmont Healthcare
Verification, Pre-certification, Billing and Failed claim analysis of all Government insurance claims on inpatient, outpatient and ambulatory surgery accounts. Maintain Quality and Productivity requirements as outlined in the position performance expectations through use of the TRAC tools. A candidate with experience in all aspects of billing and processing claims electronically is preferred for this position.
High school graduate. CRT, typing, ten-key experience required. A minimum of two years clerical experience is required, preferably in a healthcare insurance or related field. Understanding of medical and insurance terminology. A minimum of two years claim processing experience, knowledge of UB-04 billing, ICD-9, and CPT-4 is preferred for this position.
