IT Support Specialist
IT Support SpecialistPosition Title: IT Support Specialist Department: DSO SouthLocation: Conley, GA Reports to: Mgr., Information Technology, ATLAPosition Purpose:This position will provide first-line support for all IT related hardware and software support requests, utilizing Arch’s Remedy Help Desk tracking system. Duties include, but not limited to general hardware installation, configuration, repair and troubleshooting services for desktop computers, laptop computers, printers and other various components as directed. Primary Responsibilities: Interact with hardware and software vendors for the purpose of warranty repairs, component replacements and/or upgrades. Perform tasks related to asset management and inventory control, including producing and maintaining documentation and reports. Work with other IT staff members to maintain all IT related infrastructure devices such as servers, LAN switches, telephone components, wiring and other items. Provide basic user assistance for Microsoft Office applications. Team with other IT organization members to support home-office employees utilizing software tools for remote connectivity.
