Medical Front Office Assistant
Performs a variety of non-clinical duties in support of a well-established and very busy group Internal Medicine practice, located on the main campus of Piedmont Hospital. Ability to perform all clerical duties associated with the Front Office - including but not limited to: check-in/check-out duties, greeting patients or visitors, answering phones, scheduling appointments, patient registration and payment/charge posting. Makes appointments for patients checking out as well as patients on phone. Experience with diagnostic testing scheduling a big plus. May assist with processing referrals and coordinating pre-certifications for procedures. Greets patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner.
