Complete Description
Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or MA diploma with at least 5 years of internal medicine back office experience with a strong clinical background to work in a 4-provider Internal Medicine/Family Practice located in Vinings. Will perform a variety of clinical and non-clinical duties in accordance with established standards and practices. The successful candidate will have significant telephone triage experience and a clear speaking voice. Will assist in the examination and treatment of patients under direction of a physician by performing following clinical duties: Rooming patients, patient history, vitals, injections, EKGs and venipuncture. May also perform other duties: (e.g. scheduling, referrals, call-backs, etc.) Must have excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills along with strong computer skills. Familiarity with NextGen and EMR a plus. Must be an independent worker, a strong team player, pay attention to details and have the ability to multi-task. Shift ends at 4:30 pm or when all tasks are complete.
