Job Summary:
The Mental Health Associate2 is a member of the behavioral health team who assumes an active role in the planning and provision of care for dysfunctional patients admitted to the unit. The MHA performs activities related to providing for the psychosocial as well as the physical needs of the patient under the direct supervision of the RN. Appropriately adapts assessment and intervention techniques to meet the needs of various age groups.
