Duties: The Editorial Producer is responsible for researching and booking guest interview segments for CNN’s Atlanta-based news programs. This guest booking position requires strong knowledge of current events and ability to work on both domestic and international news stories. The Editorial Producer is expected to work independently, research stories thoroughly, and develop strong interview segments that meet our standards. This role effectively communicates to their show and others. They work directly with other editorial producers, segment to producers, writers, and anchors. The Editorial Producer must be competitive in his or her thinking and be aggressive in finding and researching diverse perspectives for on-air content. The position requires a full commitment to meeting the show’s mission.
