Nursing Care Associate
Multi-skilled care giver who functions under direction of the professional Registered Nurse. Assists with providing safe, age appropriate care to the patient by performing basic patient care functions, i.e. ADL’s, ambulation, vital signs; approved advanced technical procedures including phlebotomy, simple treatments, dressing changes, oral suctioning, removing foley catheters. Performs other duties deemed necessary to ensure delivery of patient care. Transports unit supplies, equipment, and patient medications.
