Director of Nursing – Critical Care
Job Summary:
The Director of Nursing functions under the direction of the Senior Vice President of Nursing and is responsible for ensuring that standards, policies, and procedures for the delivery of age appropriate and culturally aware nursing care are consistently and safely executed. Responsibilities include achieving quality outcomes and customer satisfaction in a fiscally responsible manner. Collaborates with other system leadership and medical staff. Other responsibilities include assimilation, analysis and communication of data. The Director of Nursing creates and maintains an environment for nursing leadership which enables the system to fulfill its mission and goals. Represents the Senior Vice President of Nursing in his/her absence.
