CARE is seeking a talented Liaison Officer (LO) to assist with our efforts in Pakistan. Reporting to the Director of Emergency and Humanitarian Assistance Unit (EHAU), the Pakistan LO will work with the Asia Regional Management Unit, and the CARE Pakistan Country Office to support CARE Emergency Response and Rehabilitation activities in Pakistan. The Liaison Officer will facilitate information flow between CARE Atlanta (including all relevant areas, such as finance, external relations, procurement, logistics, program units, donor relations, etc) and the Regional Management Unit and the Country Office. The LO will need to deliver support to multiple clients on diverse issues that may remain similar, but will not always have the same contexts. The LO is also responsible for supporting grant management in CARE Atlanta on all US based grants and contracts. The LO will support the EHAU Director to proactively maintain relationships with US government donors. The LO works closely with EHAU and other teams in the HQ to ensure timely and quality support provided to CARE International in Pakistan. The LO will have to travel to Pakistan and Regional Management Unit in Bangkok for significant amounts of time to understand CARE programming and provide required assistance on site.
