Production Operator
BASIC FUNCTION:
To operate machinery in a safe and efficient manner. Ensure product quality by following instructions and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Operate production equipment to produce products in accordance with production needs.
-Produce assigned products in accordance with verbal and written instructions
-Complete equipment set-ups in accordance with customer specifications and quality procedures.
-Record length of time and quantity of materials used for each job.
-Inspect parts and document findings on appropriate paperwork as needed.
-Maintain work areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas.
-Adhere to established policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations, in particular PPE.
-Notify management of product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions and/or personal injuries.
-Weighing and mixing of raw materials.
-Attend training classes provided by Kraiburg.
