Public Health Analyst
Realize the rewards of conquering a new challenge…Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Public Health Coding Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future. This position will be located in Atlanta, GA. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman’s team that supports the Center for Disease Control’s Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention. CDC’s HIV mission is to prevent HIV infection and reduce the incidence of HIV-related illness and death, in collaboration with community, state, national and international partners. Role and Responsibilities:
Screening of articles for scope:
-Screen newly identified citations of HIV prevention research articles for inclusion/exclusion in the Prevention Research Synthesis (PRS) database by reviewing the citation title and abstract.
-Enter codes in the PRS database.
Initial coding of articles for PRS database:
-Independently code citation-level qualitative and quantitative data from the in scope articles
-Enter codes in the PRS database.
-Reconcile codes and discuss discrepancies in coding with the CDC client if resolution is needed. -Finalize codes in the PRS database.
