Director, Government Relations and Public Policy
Description
The Director of Government Relations and Public Policy assists in the creation and execution of comprehensive, strategic plan to internally communicate and externally address healthcare policy challenges in the rapidly evolving federal and state government environment. The person in this role analyzes the impact of relevant federal and state legislative and regulatory initiatives on UCB products and its pipeline and works with the VP, Policy and Communications to develop and implement the company’s response. The person also works directly with government officials to communicate company public policy positions and achieve company policy goals. The person in this role must have an understanding of the impact of policy on business strategy and operations and be able to participate in the formulation of potential solutions.
